Sulfites in wine may trigger headache in young adults

Sulfite concentration in wine seems to contribute to the occurrence of headaches in individuals who are predisposed to wine-induced headaches, reports a new study.

“Sulfites are additives commonly used in food and wine industries that are associated to adverse clinical effects such as headaches,” the investigators said.
